One day Two friends were going through a forest. The forest was very dense and many ferocious beasts like bears lived in it. The friends said to each other that they would never run away if they came across a bear. They promised to help each other in difficulty instead of running for their lives. Soon they saw a bear coming towards them. One of them forgot all about the promise and climbed up a tree to save his life. The other friend could not climb up the tree. However he remembered that the bear would not touch a dead man. So he lay down on the ground holding his breath. The bear came, sniffed at him and taking him for dead left the place.
